How the hell can the "song of Solomon" be symbolic of Jesus love for his people?

When I asked about the meaning of this page from the old testament this Christian told me that it was symbolic of Jesus love for us and thats what it was all about. HOW THE HELL can a deeply ual and explicit poem containg clear , and , in her mothers bed room and in the orchard be symbolic of Jesus love? and if it IS hell I need a new religion!
