why dont you go to the salon and get your hair and makeup done, just make sure you dont over-do it, then you'll look like you are trying too hard. if you cant afford it maybe you have a friend that knows how to do hair/makeup that'll be willing to help you out for free or cheap. look at magazines and clip out stuff you like and use them as examples
