Are there any modern fiction novels by modern authors set in Mesopotamia?

I was just wondering, have any modern day authors written books that are set in ancient Mesopotamia? I know there are plenty of fantasy adventures. Books set in ancient or medieval Europe and plenty of books set long ago in China or Japan but I was was wondering if any notable authors had done Mesopotamia as the location of a fiction book. Modern authors, not ancient ones. After all, it is the Cradle of Civilization.
