There is footage that i would like to capture off of my tivo into my computer, how do i do this?

If he has the Tivo network connected, you can use a program from the Tivo web site to download the program to a networked computer. It used to be called something like Tivo Desktop, but I haven't used it for a year or so. A simple USB wireless network card will work on the back of Tivo to connect it to a wireless network.
