What does my dream mean?

I've had recurring dreams when i was 16. In my dream, i was walking along a corridor lined with white doors. I was supposed to go to the end and enter that one door at the end of the corridor. However, i never got to see what is on the opposite side of that door or what is inside that room if it was a room because i would always wake up before i reach it. One time, i slipped on the floor because i stepped on a banana peel and woke up. The other time, i was able to reach it and open the door but i was blinded with white light and felt that i fell then woke up with a jolt. Can someone interpret this dream? I've had the same dream for almost a year only with different set-ups but the doors are always white. i dont know if this other info is important, but in one dream the floor was green.
