I received a Civil Simmons that was served to me stating I was being sued for credit card debt from back in November of 2002. If I researched right the SOL law in Arizona is 3yrs, can I respond to this lawsuit and have this dropped if the SOL law is correct?

I donated double red cells 3 days ago but they were having complications. They couldn't get the needle to keep the blood flowing regularly then I didn't get half of my plasma back from complications. Hosting a Masquerade Wedding Reception?

I am trying to get ideas on how to host a masquerade for our future wedding reception. I want to have a nice normal wedding ceremony and to have the masquerade as the wedding reception theme. How to build a retaining wall flush against a sloping driveway?

I'll try to explain this as best I can. I have a garden that extends off of a turnaround area of my driveway, level with the driveway. The lawn around the garden slopes down away from the driveway. The garden itself spans along about 35 ft against the driveway. The current garden is dilapidated and outdated but I like having a garden there. So, I'm keeping the general footprint of the garden but updating it, beginning with a new retaining wall. I'm using the dry-stack, prefab 4x12" blocks and 2x12" caps that you can buy at Home Depot. My problem is that along the 35 ft that the garden and driveway intersect, the driveway slopes down about 4-5". Given a level wall and no step-ups/downs, I cannot get the ends of the wall to be flush against the driveway surface at both intersections. Do I purposely make the wall not level and attempt to pitch it the same as the driveway? That seems very difficult and building a non-level wall seems like a terrible idea. However, both ends will be flush against the driveway surface and at 4" across 35ft, I don't think it will be noticeable to the eye. Another option I'd considered is bookending the wall with something decorative to disguise the wall and driveway not lining up? Any other ideas, options, suggestions? Thanks.

If you don't have a choice of sharing the time, then i would say stay with your mom and your dog. I know both of your parents love you but you have to make your own mind up. You talk about helping your mom, the only one who can help your mom is her. With her drinking problem, until she realizes she does have a problem she will not change. Maybe if you sit down and tell her you want her to get help. There are places she can go that are state funded but she needs to want help. You could tell her you are going to live with your dad until she gets help to stop drinking. It won't be easy but she has to realize if she doesn't get help she could die all alone, just her and the bottle. I'm sorry you have to deal with this all alone, Don't ever blame yourself for either of your parents problems. This company is a factory, hard physical labor and many large, dangerous machines. I was put on the books around 15-16yrs old, they allowed and asked me 2 work many, many hrs. Sometimes I, and others, worked up to, and sometimes over, 50 consecutive hours; even working 106 hrs in a single week, and they had us work over 13 consecutive days without a day off. This was throughout my time at this company. They also hired other Children, around my age and a few as young as 9yrs old, under the table of course and they performed physical labor and worked on machinery. They were paid by personal checks from the company, sometimes the company would write checks for some employees to people that weren't even employed there. So it's very possible that a child handled, worked on, finished or packaged a ballot that you or some that you know used to vote with in the past. I no longer work there, haven't for few yrs. Is this all illegal? All of it? And can they be held responsible? If so, what steps would I take? Thanks so much for all responses.

Just need a guide. I got my tints done in 2004 to my car. I'll be moving to San Diego, CA [hopefully sometime before this year is out] and I see that they don't allow tints on the front windows, but is fine in the back windows. Camby for Sheed is a bad deal. Sheed is good, but Camby has been providing consistent rebs/blocks all year. Sheed has the added problem of getting ejected from games for his hot head, so you lose stats on and off. Hill is out for 2-3, but either way, he's not as good as either Peja or Crawford. He'll probably get rested toward the end of the season to get ready for the Sun's playoff run. The other guy is trying to get rid of him while his value is high. Maggette is probably the only good player in the bunch, but given how much you have to give up to get him, not worth it. Crawford is the only consistent offense on the garbage Knicks team. I would kill to have Peja's offense + 3's on my team. I think the price is too steep.

You may need some meds to equalize some of the chemicals that might be messed up for now. See your doc about this. Re greedy, dishonest people - yep, the world is full of them. The world also is full of joyful, caring people who don't feel any rip-sh** need to justify their existence to anyone. Know what? You DO care, or you wouldn't have written to YA. Face and work thru your anger (doctor, counselor, tree trunk...). Volunteer your time to sick kids or shelter animals. Take meds if needed. You WILL feel better in time.

Awkward commercials on TV?

Do what I do. I call the company that puts them out and tell them what is wrong with their commercials. So far I've gotten 12 of them removed or changed. For example, remember the one where the woman has borrowed her daughter's shirt and gets something on it. It's a stain remover commerical. The daughter wants to wear the shirt and she can't find it so she goes and asks her mom and the mom looks back and remembers she got it stained and forgot it so she 'lies' to the daughter and says she doesn't know where the shirt is. DUH. They just taught teens that parents have the right to lie to them so the teens might as well lie also. So I exposed that to the company and now you do not see the mother lying. That part is cut out of the commercial. I've done that to lots of companies and the most recent one I've called at last week was the commercial where they blow a bubble and the kitten is put into the bubble. That is teaching a child that if he can't do that then try a plastic bag since the bag looks like a bubble so he is now exposed to animal cruelty. Plus what do children think happens to the kitten inside the bubble when the bubble pops? It falls and gets hurt.... right? That is how a child's mind thinks. We'll see what they do with that one. If I see it on more than 3 times then I send a note to all my friends and ask them to call and complain as well. The more people that call the worse it is for a company so get all the information you need about who to call and then get all your friends to call and get the ad's changed or off the tv. That is what it will take. I'm getting good results on the ones I'm doing.

I've had recurring dreams when i was 16. In my dream, i was walking along a corridor lined with white doors. I was supposed to go to the end and enter that one door at the end of the corridor. However, i never got to see what is on the opposite side of that door or what is inside that room if it was a room because i would always wake up before i reach it. One time, i slipped on the floor because i stepped on a banana peel and woke up. The other time, i was able to reach it and open the door but i was blinded with white light and felt that i fell then woke up with a jolt. Can someone interpret this dream? Home Improvement Loan?

My husband and I own a home that we bought for $26500. It was completely gutted. My husband completely fixed it up, but it still needs alot of cosmetic work -new drywall, trim, paint, some carpeting. We want to re-finance but it is in no shape for an appraiser to come out and look at it. We re-financed it last year, and it was appraised at $55,000. Our loan on it now is $35,000. We don't know anything about rehab loans or home improvement loans, so we don't know where to begin. Doesn't the home have to be appraised again? Our upstairs is opened up, it was an attic, and we don't have any drywall up. It is basically an attic with a stairway access. Could this be a problem in getting the loan? Please help me figure out what is causing my itchy skin?

about 2 weeks ago, i undertook a major cleaning of my house. Ever since then, every day I am finding anywhere from 2 to 6 new spots of itchy skin. I do have allergies to dust and everything ociated with it. I have tried everything I can think of from washing all of my linens/slip covers for the furniture to actually taking the shop vac to my furniture (including my bed). I can't stop scratching!! It's driving me crazy... I appear to be the only one getting these, my fiance doesn't have anything on him. I've been doing some research and these bites resemble bed bugs but I don't know where they would have come from. I shower on a regular basis... I don't know what else to do... I haven't changed my diet or anything. Could I have developed an allergy to my laundry detergent even though it's the same one I have always used? What else could it be?? Okay, calm down, love. The reason it hurts so badly is because you've scd the skin, and there are tons of nerve endings there. The first thing you need to do is take some Tylenol, Advil, Ibuprofen...some kind of anti-inflammatory. That should help with the pain. Also, they make first-aid creams with an extra ingredient in them to help numb the pain. The main thing is to KEEP IT CLEAN. Make sure and wash it twice a day with antibacterial soap. Don't put lotions, body sprays, etc on it. There's no need to keep it covered, unless you need a barrier between your clothes and the wound for comfort reasons. Good luck, and I hope this helps!
